Clinical Chemistry
Our clinical chemistry panels include parameters required for clinical trial safety studies and panels for renal physiology /kidney biomarkers including eGFR, liver biomarkers , pancreatic biomarkers, cardiac biomarkers (including d-dimer), lipid biomarkers (cholesterol and related analytes), metabolism (including glycaemic profiling and Hb1Ac), biochemistry, anaemia (serum iron biomarkers), arthritis, electrolytes and in particular, inflammation.
Safety Studies
More info
We generally work from either lithium heparinized whole blood, lithium heparinized plasma or serum – we will advise at the point of order. Our assays are carried out using the latest Thermo Indiko Plus with ISE.
These assays are generally conducted in conjunction with the following analyses (details of which can be found in the relevant section of this website): Haematology, coagulation profile, urinalysis, serology and hormone panels. Screening for drugs of abuse is also available (please enquire).
Our primary and most popular panel is for subject safety study screening using serum. The analytes are:
Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT/GPT), Albumin (ALB), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST/GOT),Bilirubin (Direct),Bilirubin (Total), Calcium, Chloride, Cholesterol, Creatinine, Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT), Glucose (GLU),Inorganic Phosphate,Potassium,Sodium,Total Protein (TP),Uric Acid (UA).
In response to specific client requests, we also have available Indiko assays for d-dimer, ferritin, iron, lactate dehydrogenase.
